International Volunteers

International volunteers need to commit to a minimum period of 6 weeks. We do, however, give preference to those volunteers who can work for longer. This is to ensure that you get as much out of our volunteer program as possible by completing the relevant training necessary to perform particular tasks. Your volunteer duties will depend on your length of stay, your ability and your particular relationships with our animals. There is no maximum volunteer period. A volunteer Visa will be required should you wish to stay for 90 days or more.

Limited basic accommodation (only basic foods e.g. tea, coffee, rice, pasta. etc) is available for our international volunteers. Housing and transport will be available in return for you working 5 days a week at our facility. Subject to availability of accommodation we can also look to taking interns looking for experience in tourism, conservation, etc.

Local Volunteers

We welcome local volunteers who can commit to a minimum of 4 days a month. This is to ensure that we have a level of consistency to our program. We can also consider accepting students who wish to volunteer during semester breaks to gain experience in the tourism, animals or conservation fields.
